Operation steps

1 、Wound covered with a sterile or clean disposable surgical dressing, fix the dressing.

The spiral method

This method is mostly used for limbs of the same thickness and torso.

3、From the third circle onwards, wrap each circle to cover one-third or one-half of the previous circle in a spiral shape.

Note: When wrapping should be evenly applied force, from the inside to the outside firm. The bandage covered on the wound should be completely covered when the disposable surgical dressing is completed.

Spiral reflexive dressing method

This method is applied to the limb thickness.

Operation steps.

1、Wound is covered with a sterile or clean dressing and fixed dressing.

2、First wrap two loops according to the loop method.

3, then each circle of bandage reflexive fold, cover the front circle one-third or two-thirds. Wrap from bottom to top in this way.

4、When folding back, press the top center of the first aid bandage and use the other hand to fold the bandage back down, then wind backward and pull tight; the bandage fold back should avoid the patient's wound.

Be sure to do a good job of cleaning the wound before bandaging, alcohol can be used to disinfect. The key to a good first aid bandage is not too tight and not too loose.
